Worthington Hills Country Club – Club Room Renovation
The Perry County Job and Family Services Administration (PCJFS) strives to administer and create programs that strengthen the county, one family at a time. Part of the economically-challenged Appalachian Ohio area, the county’s JFS services are extremely important in assisting and providing support to the local community. The building allows the administration the room to grow in order to continue to accommodate and expand the support systems that provide the local community with the resources they need.
The new two-story Opportunity Center is designed to be the new headquarters for careers, jobs and workforce development opportunities. With funding originating from state and federal grants, the building will also include almost 8,500 sf of space available for public use for such events as community meetings, career fairs or senior expos, skill training, study spaces and a “healthy living” cafe.
MA reviewed and studied multiple building programs to make sure the flow and operations of the day-to-day user needs were perfected. Working with the community and the employees, our design team listened to their needs and made sure their feedback and viewpoints were integrated into the design every step of the way. The architectural design truly captures the essence, needs, and character of Perry County.
