MA Design continued our long partnership with the Worthington Hills Country Club to provide architectural, interior design, and furniture design and coordination for the renovation of the main grill room, bar and lounge area. A variety of dining options were created through the use of a new large bar area with a built-in table feature that has become the most coveted seats at the new bar, plus new seating arrangements to provide flexible options. The newly renovated club room now opens up to the large outdoor patio that faces the golf course and has amazing sunsets looking west over the course.
The scope of work for the project included a complete overhaul where our mission was to remove all of the old finishes from the original construction and transform the restaurant into a new, hip, and bright space that members enjoy.
A cluster of wing-backed chairs provides a casual conversation area, traditional high top table and bar for dining in, and private booths for a cozier experience are all included in this multi-purpose social space. A custom wine locker is showcased in the dining area so members can always have access to their favorite bottles. Open wood screens are used to create separation between the bar and dining areas. The new furnishings create a versatile and accommodating environment that is attractive and comfortable for a wide range of visitors and needs.
