Looking to provide an additional office building in Grandview Yard, Nationwide Realty Investors challenged us to find a creative solution that enhances the design of the industrial-type brick building.
Creating a narrative, this new building looks like that of an old industrial building renovated with a modern lobby. Brick veneer and large storefront windows with black metal were used to give it the industrial look, and a cable-supported glass wall system by Novum Structures provided the modern appeal the owner was looking for at the lobby enclosure.
Keeping with the light and airy theme of the lobby, the open stair appears to float in the space, as it is supported from above by steel rods and a hidden connection to the building. Also suspended is a lighted address sign that hovers above the lobby floor below.
This building contains a multi-tenant office space within the Grandview Yard collection that stands out with its unique design, intricate brick detailing, and eye-catching front entry.
