Connecting employees and visitors to the station’s history and culture.

Approach

MA Design created a series of experiential design elements that bring the story of WBNS-TV to life throughout the workplace. Environmental graphics, dimensional installations, and interactive moments highlight the station’s role as Central Ohio’s trusted news source.

A large-scale, three-dimensional feature wall celebrates the company’s origins through the phrase “Banks, News, Shoes,” referencing the Wolfe family history behind the WBNS call letters. In the café, a dramatic graphic of the station’s traffic helicopter flying above the Columbus skyline reinforces the connection between the newsroom and the city it serves. Motion-activated acrylic signs that illuminate messages like “On Air” and “Breaking News” add energy and personality throughout the space.
