Approach
The Eden, a student housing oasis, is located adjacent to the University of Cincinnati’s Medical Campus and is a four-story, wood construction development featuring 207 units. This project consisted of architecture, interior design, and experiential design, all done in-house collaboratively. Our design team challenged conventional student housing standards with a classy, Art Deco-inspired theme that’s carried through all facets of the project including the amenity center, exterior detailing, and massing.
Bold and flashy, the interior experiential design elements include dark wood accents with gold visuals, bringing accents of the 1920s to life. Further experiential design elements are present in the space with vibrant gold and dark green colors as well as geometric patterns on frosted glass that tie the lavish look together while also offering privacy and separation in the common rooms.
