Approach
MA Design served as Criteria A/E for The Ohio State University and designed the transformation of the College of Pharmacy’s library space in the Riffe Building. This ambitious 16,487 SF renovation created a cutting-edge learning environment featuring two 150-seat active learning classrooms with advanced technology, optimized acoustics, and flexible configurations. The project also included small-group meeting rooms designed for focused discussions and collaborative work with integrated audiovisual capabilities, along with student seating areas that prioritized comfort, connectivity, and aesthetics. The completed renovation supports active learning pedagogies, encourages collaboration, and enhances the delivery of the PharmD and undergraduate curriculum.
