Bringing care closer to home, the new Jerome Medical Office Building is conveniently positioned to enhance wellness within the growing township and its neighboring communities. The two-story building provides a comprehensive range of medical services such as primary care, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, heart and vascular care as well as neurosurgery and behavioral health.
Upon entering the space, patients are greeted by a welcoming experience designed to instill comfort and tranquility. An emphasis was placed on using natural materials, such as wood accents, to create an inviting atmosphere. The lobby opens into a two-story atrium with a large feature stair that not only promotes wellness but floods the space with natural light.
Responding to input from the users of the space, the MA design team enlarged the typical OhioHealth standard exam room to accommodate the unique needs of clinic staff and users. Corridors were designed to penetrate the exterior walls and maximize natural daylight to enhance the patient and staff experience. This project was designed with future expansion in mind to be able to grow with the needs of the community.
