Darana Hybrid Headquarters

Approach

MA Design is collaborating with Darana Hybrid on the expansion of their existing manufacturing facility, transforming it into a modern, community-oriented campus. The planned development features approximately 74,000 SF of new manufacturing space, 22,600 SF of storage space situated above structured parking, and 15,000 SF of contemporary office space, complemented by ample surface parking, a truck court, and a welcoming greenspace park fronting the site.

Inspired by machining and rapid-prototyping, the building’s architectural design captures the spirit of metal fabrication techniques, true to the nature of Darana Hybrid’s processes. Visual gestures of expanded metal mesh and movement can be shown throughout the façade by the use of angled walls, the blending of high contrast material colors, and strategic lighting.
