Approach
MA recently completed the design for Moriroku’s new office/manufacturing building, which proved very advantageous when launching into it’s interior graphic design branding.
Complimenting the Japanese heritage and R&D nature of Moriroku, the office walls were designed to be minimalist and devoid of color; however, as Moriroku employees became situated in their space and began to tour visitors, leadership wanted the spaces to highlight their brand and impressive 350-year heritage. Custom environmental graphics were created for the lobby, corridors, conference rooms, and employee communal spaces. The theme of a ‘global presence’ with hints of Japanese influence can be seen through a collection of wall coverings, applied vinyl graphics and signage. Careful attention was paid so not to overwhelm the spaces, but instead create a balance of the sharp graphics and white space.
