Approach
Lument Real Estate Property Group is the final product of a successfully cohesive workplace redesign for the newly merged company to effectively support their newly combined teams, work processes, and culture.
Our workplace strategy team worked with them early on and brought together two companies in the early stages of a merger. The new space needed to create an aesthetic unique to their new company that facilitated bringing together employees as they merged their process and workflow.
Through our change management and workplace strategy, we assessed the features and functions desired by staff and developed a plan that brought together new teams giving them adjacencies to the people and features they needed access to, including a new internal staircase that promoted connection of teams and access to resources.
Using warm woods and rich, saturated neutrals while balancing a white, clean canvas, the office space creates a welcoming, warm open office environment. With a blend of formal and informal meeting spaces with tailored details in the common spaces, collaboration is encouraged for different types of workstyles. Other unique design decisions include a meetings and collaborations hub, a board room with views of downtown Columbus, a large working cafe for team lunches or meetings, and refueling stations that mimic train cars offering private seating booths.
In a talent war, the space serves as a tool to attract and retain talent, enhance collaboration, and provide a space for social connection, recharging and refreshing, and impromptu conversations that lead to greater connection company-wide.
