Health and wellness at the forefront of design.

Approach

Expanding the modern mixed-use development of Pointe at Polaris, this second phase includes more luxury residential, additional retail and office, and outdoor courtyards and trails, along with integrated structured parking. The buildings are designed with a mix of contemporary architectural details and materials, with complementary colors and textures used throughout. The Pointe at Polaris community is focused on providing amenities that make the life of its residents and workers easier and more connected.

The focus of the design of the new residential building is for the health and wellness of its residents. In addition to the 257 units, amenities include a full-length lap pool, indoor and outdoor fitness center, massage rooms, and saunas. Amenities such as bike storage and repair stations, outdoor grills and fire pits, and hammocks encourage enjoyment of the outdoors. Within the units, the Dwelo Smart Home Technology allows residents to control settings from anywhere at any time, from setting their thermostat to locking doors and turning off lights.

In addition to the residential building, structured parking with 496 spaces was included. A “starry night” wall installation, allowing natural and ambient light through, was built into the parking garage to add visual interest to the resident’s view.

Lastly, a multi-tenant office building anchors Lyra Boulevard. Currently, home to Bank of America, the public lobby space mimics an art gallery to welcome all who visit.

The two phases of this project come together to create a central hub allowing residents, shoppers, employees, and visitors to get a sense of community.

This project was awarded Runner Up Best Mixed-Use / Multi-Family / Retail Project in 2021 from NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association – Central Ohio Chapter.
