Eclectic historical yet modern designed residential community focused on wellness.

Approach

A luxury apartment community in scenic Jeffersonville, Indiana, The Jeff on 10th includes 190 units ranging from studio to one and two bedroom unit types, all within walking distance of local shops. Inspiration for both the architecture and interior design came from the bridges in Jeffersonville, which connect to Louisville, Kentucky via the Ohio River, as well as the surrounding architecture of the neighborhood. The design uses elements from the steel trusses and the historic architecture and modernizes them to create unique, high-end design elements throughout the building. Elements like the geometric chandeliers in the common area and main entrance along with the patterned carpet that is reminiscent of the urban street grid of nearby Louisville both bring an eclectic historical yet modern, luxurious atmosphere.

Offering boutique-style living opportunities, residents can enjoy a plethora of both indoor and outdoor amenities. Outside the lush internal courtyard has been sectioned off into dynamic areas like the outside game area complete with a life-sized chess board, a ping pong table, a bocce ball court. Whether lounging on the sunshelf in the heated, resort-style saltwater pool or using the recreation terrace to enjoy outdoor yoga, luxurious wellness is always within arms reach.
