One41 Wellington provides a quaintly modern sense of community for those living outside of downtown Cincinnati. Overlooking the Queen City on sloped land, these four 4-story apartment buildings sit on a one-story parking garage. MA Design sought to help the developer with their goal of lifting this area out of desertion by creating a bustling neighborhood with new apartments centered around three elements: aesthetics, function and economy. MA Design provided the apartments with modern massing and detailing, while still honoring the historic context of the neighborhood by using reminiscent materials like classic red brick. Overall, the new apartments reflect a modern, clean, open and millennial-oriented vision.
