Family owned and operated since 1979, Little Italy Pizza has easily grown into one of Groveport’s favorite family restaurants. After Chuck and Janet Ward passed the restaurant down to their son Nick, Little Italy expanded into dine-in and catering. Today, the growing pizza restaurant can be found not only using the same core values from the beginning, but also the same recipes from grandma, furthering the family’s strong connection as a flagship in the community.

The design created for their new location respects the legacy of the Little Italy brand with nods to the old space seen throughout. Refreshed wood elements, including baffles that serve as an ode to the original ceilings, and the artful inclusion of family memorabilia like personal photos tie in the past while newer elements like the hand-dipped ice cream bar welcome in the future.

Room for future expansion was incorporated into the design as Little Italy more than doubled the kitchen space. Additional expansion to the dining area through partitioned seating was included to create dynamic opportunities for more community to gather because at Little Italy, there’s always more room at the table.
