Five Future States for the Future of Design + DEI

As we are at an inflection point in history, it’s always good for us to be aware of what is causing change and what will affect our future. Working in preparation for the IDA roundtable summit, I have been looking at the effects of diversity equity and inclusion as it relates to how it will affect design in the future.
This is such an important and relevant topic right now as it is going to have profound effects on how we make sure that we serve the community and help solve for human needs. As we look to create means of connection and access, these five feature states will help us work toward meaningful change in our industry.
