Approach
The Prestige Properties Headquarters is an adaptive reuse project that transforms a former grocery store and warehouse into a vibrant workplace that reflects the company’s values and vision for future growth. The design focused on creating a residential feel rather than a typical office by incorporating gentle colors and warm finishes. Other personalized, inviting touches included chandeliers with diffused lighting, soft wood grain textures, and curving architectural elements.
Though the black-and-white logo remained a brand constant, the interior introduced warm, complementary colors that helped the space avoid a sterile office feel. Instead, these warm colors support a healthy, comfortable work culture. Furthering the idea of health, private offices were enlarged to make room for walking treadmill desks, placing emphasis on employee wellness. Skylights were included throughout the headquarters to bring in abundant natural light, addressing the challenge of a windowless shell while also further supporting employee wellness. The natural light, alongside biophilic touches like a preserved moss green wall and lush indoor plants, makes Prestige Properties Headquarters a wellness haven, focused on expansion while preserving employee health.
