Moeller Brew Barn, an independent craft brewery, added a third location, this one across the street from Day Air Ballpark in the rapidly growing Water Street District of Dayton, Ohio. This location features a total of three bars, onsite brewing and an outdoor beer garden that is pet- and bicyclist-friendly.
The Brew Barn occupies space on the first floor of the Madison on First project, which is a mixed-use development by Crawford Hoying offering 11,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space and 3,900 square feet of patio/plaza space.
Formerly part of the Mendelson’s liquidation complex, this historic building and its addition are located directly south of the Dayton Dragons ballpark. Brackett Builders Inc. moved their corporate headquarters into the building’s second floor.
With exposed wood framing, existing brick, and double-height ceilings, Moeller’s design highlights the original features of the Mendelson’s building while remaining true to the Moeller Brew Barn brand.
