Approach
Due to the R&D nature of this facility, the building’s design centered around Moriroku’s specialty equipment and achieving maximum functionality and efficiency. MA worked closely with the contractor and consultants to make sure systems like the chilled glycol continuous loop cooling system were installed according to equipment requirements.
This R&D center houses quality assurance testing and design and expanded existing sales and purchasing operations for the area. The interior finishes have a modern sleek feel and the exterior landscaping includes Japanese Cherry Blossoms to bring Moriroku’s Japanese heritage to Marysville.
Rapid growth of the company’s Marysville location created the need for the expansion of its operations. The project was done design/build to quicken the schedule.
