Corrosion Resistant Reinforcing (CRR) is a resistant steel manufacturer and fabricator who, having experienced significant growth, needed to expand their facility. MA Design provided architectural design for the 30,000 SF tilt-up concrete panel, slab on grade, single story expansion. The extra space provides much needed storage and shipping/receiving areas.
Being located at the end of the street was a challenge for trucks to navigate around the tight southern end of the site. The building expansion responds to the site constraint by stepping back to create access to a dock and truck drive-in door from the front property line off of the street. With careful site planning and analysis we were able to maximize the footprint of the expansion, while maintaining traffic flow around the site for shipping and receiving.
