MA Design has provided architectural design for two projects in the ProLogis Park 70 – Etna, a 5 million SF industrial park located near Interstate 70 just South of Pataskala.
Building #2 is a cross-docked, 32 foot clear speculative warehouse facility designed to cater to the world’s best manufacturing, distribution, and third party logistics providers. The mechanical systems and the built environment are designed to be easily adaptable to accommodate a plethora of future uses. Other building features include interior skylights to provide natural illumination in the warehouse, an ESFR fire suppression system, and 120 possible dock positions.
Building #3 was constructed in just under six months and achieved LEED Silver certification. The overall building is 40% more energy efficient than standard warehouse buildings, using skylights to maintain 25 foot candles of pure daylight over 95% of the floor area. This is a 63% more efficient lighting design than typical for this type of building. Over 1 million gallons of stormwater is recaptured every year for reuse on site.
