Located near Rickenbacker airport just south of Columbus, Ohio, IDI Logistics is creating a new industrial park called Park IDI at Rickenbacker Exchange. The site is a one-day drive from nearly half of the United States’ population and up to one-third of Canada’s population, making it an excellent location for a multitude of industrial, technology, and corporate businesses.
MA Design created design plans for two speculative, multi-use buildings that reflect the needs of a wide range of businesses and take full advantage of the site. Building G1 is 594,588 SF, and G2 is 431,045 SF. Each building features LEED-certified design, including responsibly sourced material procurement, LED lighting, and water quality and retention.
Given the current procurement and supply chain challenges, MA Design has a creative and flexible bid package strategy that ensures a quick turnaround. This project is currently in the construction pricing and procurement phase, with construction anticipated to start in summer 2023.
