It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved colleague, leader, and friend, Seth Oakley, Senior Principal at MA Design and founder of our Cincinnati office. Seth lost his long and courageous battle with cancer this week.

Since joining MA Design in 2004, Seth’s impact has been immeasurable. In 2014, he established our Cincinnati location, where he has led with vision, integrity, and a collaborative spirit. His technical expertise, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to quality shaped countless residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, always with the goal of creating spaces that both serve and uplift communities.

Seth was more than a skilled architect; he was a positive force, a mentor, and a steadfast supporter of his MA Design team. His leadership extended far beyond project work by guiding day-to-day operations, championing innovation, and fostering a culture of respect and camaraderie.

We remember Seth not only for his professional excellence but also for his kindness, optimism, and the lasting relationships he built. His legacy will live on in the spaces he helped create, the people he inspired, and the office he built from the ground up.
