We are excited to announce the promotions of some outstanding team members who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and expertise in their roles. Please join us in congratulating them on their well-deserved advancements:

Ally Balmer promoted to Project Captian I in our Cincinnati office.

“Ally has continued to grow in her career and responsibilities at MA Design, taking on key roles on smaller projects and leading both project teams and clients. Beyond her project work, she is actively involved in AIA Cincinnati, MA’s Sustainability Committee, our Co-Op program, and she leads our annual Canstruction build. This promotion to Project Captain I recognizes Ally’s continued growth as a leader and her expanding impact within the firm and our industry.”

Brooke Charek promoted to Offie Manager in our Cincinnati office.

“Brooke is the glue that holds our Cincinnati office together. She goes beyond traditional administrative support, managing the day-to-day operations that keep the office running smoothly. In addition to her role in office operations, she has supported the marketing team and now assists the IT group with software coordination and system updates in our Cincinnati office. This promotion recognizes Brooke’s organization, adaptability, and the many ways she supports the MA Design team.”

Bryant Hovest promoted to Project Captain II in our Columbus office.

“Bryant has become one of MA Design’s go-to resources for accessibility expertise and is a trusted source for BIM and code questions. He has steadily taken on increased responsibility across multiple fronts, including independently managing small projects with strong results. This promotion to Project Captain II is a natural next step as Bryant continues to grow in his career.”

He has shown the ability to lead project documentation, independently manage Construction Administration, and continue developing his technical expertise. Cameron is also building leadership skills through his involvement with MA’s Sustainability Committee and his service as President of the NOMA Columbus chapter, reflecting his commitment to both the firm and the profession.”

Caroline Stukey promoted to Marketing Coordinator in our Columbus office.

“Caroline has taken on a larger role within MA Design’s marketing efforts, contributing more deeply to social media, project pursuits, and a wide range of marketing initiatives. As her responsibilities and impact have grown, it became clear that her skills and focus are best suited to a dedicated role within the marketing team. Moving Caroline into a full-time Marketing Coordinator role reflects both her contributions and the value she brings to MA Design’s ongoing marketing efforts.”

Jessica Glorius-Dangelo promoted to Project Manager I, Sustainability Manager, Associate in our Cincinnati office.

“Jess leads clients and internal project teams to consistently deliver projects that meet key milestones. In addition, she leads the firm’s Sustainability Committee, driving company-wide goals and initiatives. Through education, engagement, and leadership, she has fostered a strong culture of sustainability across the organization. This promotion recognizes Jess’s dedication to MA Design and the impact she has on both her project teams and the firm as a whole.”

Michelle Culley promoted to Project Captian I in our Columbus office.

Montel Wells has been promoted to Project Architect I in our Columbus office.

“Since earning his licensure last year, Montel has shown a strong commitment to professional growth and has continued to develop into a highly capable architect. His expertise has made him a trusted resource not only within his studio, but across the firm, where he is often sought out for reliable architectural guidance. Montel has led major project efforts, including overseeing construction administration on a large mixed-use development, guiding a senior living community project from schematic design through construction documents, and managing multiple housing initiatives. Through this work, he developed a standardized guidelines process that has since become a valuable resource for other teams. Montel brings a quiet, impactful leadership style, a strong work ethic, and a collaborative approach that make him an important member of the MA Design team.”
